L'Epson SureLab SL-D3000 est un minilab compact doté de 6 couleurs, destiné au tirage de photos. Il s'adresse donc aux magasins proposant des services d’impression. SureLab SL-D3000 permet d'imprimer sur des supports brillants, mats ou lustrés, d’une taille pouvant aller jusqu’à 30,5 cm, afin de produire des photos ou encore des cartes de voeux, invitations, encarts et brochures. Ce minilab peut imprimer jusqu'à 650 photos au format 10,2 x 15,2 cm par heure.

Ce minilab a été lancé lors du dernier salon de la Drupa à Düsseldorf et est commercialisé depuis cet été. Il utilise la technologie de tête d’impression Piezo d'Epson et l’associe à l’encre d’origine et à la technologie LUT d’Epson, pour fournir des reproductions précises, d’une résolution maximale de 1440 x 1440 dpi. Les encres photo UltraChrome 6 couleurs d’Epson (C, M, J, N, magenta clair, cyan clair) permettent d’obtenir une gamme de couleurs plus variée que celle permise par les halogénures d’argent et une bonne densité des noirs. La tête d’impression et la technologie LUT permettent une maîtrise de l'utilisation de l'encre afin de réduire le coût d'impression en maintenant le niveau de qualité de l'image imprimée.

L'utilisation du SureLab SL-D3000 n'exige aucune formation particulière pour ceux et celles qui ont l'habitude de travailller sur minilab. Epson propose en option le logiciel OrderController qui inclut des fonctions de retouche photographique de base, facilite la configuration des tâches. Le SL-D3000 commence à imprimer rapidement, sans préchauffage des produits chimiques, et il peut envoyer automatiquement les impressions vers la trieuse format A4 en option. Son seul entretien régulier consiste à remplacer les consommables épuisés.

The Home Cinema 6500 UB offer true 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution with the 3LCD D7 chip set for significantly higher contrast, a built-in HQV Reon-VX processor by Silicon Optix, and a wide range of new performance advantages.

Epson Colorio Serie New Printers

Seiko Epson Corporation announce the Epson Colorio PM-890C printer with "Multi Play Print" for 2880-dpi high image quality, CD-R label printing and BorderFree (entire surface) printing; the Epson Colorio PM-830C for BorderFree and roll paper printing; and the Epson Colorio PM-730C entry-level model, the first low-price printer to offer BorderFree printing. These three products launch October 5, 2001 from Epson Sales Japan.
