"I have been thinking about how to name the show in a way that keeps a balance between the sense of activity that I feel is an important aspect of the work and a kind of hesitant optimism that I have become more aware of after thinking about the piece some more. Having plans for the morning is to me an image of emotional safety; the opposite of waking up to empty time. It relates to the confort of moving objects and oneself around, or experiencing something in motion. I am interested in how making work can be this kind of organising but yet vague activity consisting of small shifts or adjustments. like opening and closing kitchen cupboards" Esmeralda Valencia Lindström.
