The Lonesome Gamblers is a fench group that playing different kind of American country music from Bluegrass, hillbilly music to Western swing music. They love Bob Dylan, Derroll Adams, Ramblin'Jack Elliot, Tucker Zimmerman, Sammy Walker, Pete Seeger, Mississippi John Hurt, Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Elisabeth Cotten, Ralph Stanley, Jimmie Rodgers, Delmore Brothers, Norman Blake... and others.
It's a group of friends who are playing for fun and for the love of folk songs. They start in 2001 and release their second cd album last week. The cd is available only on internet (link to their website at the end of this post) and during there concert.
