The Carnegie Arts Center current exhibition come from the private collection of Steve and Vicky Kaaz. The Kaaz’s collection includes a variety of media, including paintings, batik prints, lithographs, etchings, metal works, and an original movie cell from Disney’s Pinocchio.

The Carnegie exhibition features mainly works on paper and includes the Kaaz’s two works by Russian-French artist Marc Chagall. One of the prints is a hand-colored etching from Chagall’s biblical illustrations and the other is a color lithograph of a stained glass window Chagall designed for the Hadaash-Hebrew Medical Center in Jerusalem (above). Other works include woodblock prints from southeast Asia and paintings by Itzchak Tarkay.

The Kaaz Collection is on display at the Carnegie Arts Center since November 5 through November 24, 2010. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
