EMANUELA DE PAULA is one of the seven models of the 2009 edition of the Pirelli Calendar. She was born in the small port town of Cabo de Santo Agostinho in the state of Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil. Her interest and perseverance in fashion and modeling started at an early age. At age 15 she moved to São Paulo to pursue her career and signed with Marilyn Agency in 2005. She arrived in New York shortly after and has been based there since. Her mixed ethnic background made her a crowd favorite at her New York Fashion Week debut. Emanuela is a unique and down to earth girl who remains one of the most in demand models working today.
