MALGOSIA is one of the seven models of the 2009 edition of the Pirelli Calendar. Born in Krakow, Poland in 1977, she quickly became a successful runway and editorial model appearing on the covers of many international magazines including Italian, French and British Vogue, V Magazine and Harpers Bazaar.
She has worked on many campaigns including Tiffany, Calvin Klein, Gap, Lanvin and Marc Jacobs and has worked with many great photographers including Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and Mario Testino.
In 2001, she diversified her career and turned to acting where she appeared in major roles in four feature films in Europe including the Polish film “Ono” and the production of “Karol: A Man Who Became Pope”.
However, in 2006, Malgosia enjoyed a resurgence back into the fashion industry appearing in major advertising campaigns for the houses of Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Jill Sander and Donna Karan.
Malgosia, who has a son Jozef, obtained an art degree in literature from the University of Warsaw and is also a classically trained pianist.
