ISABELI FONTANA is one of the seven models of the 2009 edition of the Pirelli Calendar. With her unique beauty and stunning runway presence, she has set the fashion world ablaze like no other model in recent years. This Women model has appeared in virtually every major global fashion magazine, and is in constant high demand with the industry’s top designers, editors and photographers.

Isabeli Fontana was born in the southern Brazilian village of Curitiba. She was scouted at age thirteen when she entered a modeling contest.

Isabeli Fontana has been modeling in New York since 1996 and is arguably the most popular model in the world. She has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including Balenciaga, Versace, Chanel, Valentino, Hermes, Hussein Chalayan, Armani Jeans, Oscar de la Renta, MaxMara, and Nicole Farhi. Isabeli Fontana can currently be seen in the Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf fragrance campaign, photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, as well as the Versace Crystal Noir fragrance campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel.

Isabeli Fontana consistantly works with the industry’s most talented photographers: Steven Meisel, David Sims, Mario Testino, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Solve Sundsbo, Peter Lindbergh, Mario Sorrenti, Alasdair McLellan, Dan Jackson and Patrick Demarchelier, to name a few.
